      <image:title>About Me</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) practicing out of Durham, NC. In therapy, I work collaboratively with my clients to explore themselves and move towards the life they want and deserve. I have spent the last ten years facilitating space to explore identity and power, learning what it takes to build self-awareness and access authentic healing and organizing alongside my community to access the resources and care that we all deserve. I commit to building a therapy space that is genuine, connected, judgement-free and dignifying. I humbly embody my role as therapist as a white, queer, Jewish, non-binary person with chronic pain and class resources. I welcome discussion about and accountability around the ways that my identity interacts with our work together. When not working, I enjoy gardening, making pottery, baking bread, swimming and dancing. I am committed to several political organizing projects fighting for the liberation of all people. From Durham to Palestine, our freedom and healing are inherently connected. I grew up in Maine and have called North Carolina home for the last 8 years. Before opening up my practice, I worked at the Duke Children’s Evaluation Center and Duke Center for Eating Disorders as a clinical social worker. Before that, I worked at various agencies supporting low-income workers and survivors of intimate partner violence and as a crew member on local flower and vegetable farms. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Sociology and Education in 2013 and graduated from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a masters degree in Social Work in 2020. During my time at UNC, I saw therapy clients at the LGBTQ Center of Durham and at various clinics within the Duke system.</image:caption>
